Ultrasound-Guided Injections
Targeted pain relief without surgery
Ultrasound-guided steroid injections can provide effective relief from pain and inflammation caused by conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy and arthritis. Ultrasound guidance ensures precise placement for the best possible results. For patients who are not suitable for steroid injections, we also offer hyaluronic acid injections as an effective alternative.
CORTICOSTEROID INJECTIONS
What is a Corticosteroid Injection?

A corticosteroid injection is a targeted anti-inflammatory treatment designed to relieve pain and swelling in joints and soft tissues. This minimally invasive treatment can help reduce inflammation, improve mobility and restore function.

When the joints or soft tissues of the foot and ankle become inflamed due to injury or wear and tear, corticosteroid injections can help relieve pain and support recovery.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT TREATMENT FOR YOU

Are Cortisone Steroid Injections right for me?

Most people experiencing chronic or acute foot pain are suitable candidates for corticosteroid injections. However, certain conditions or medical factors may require alternative care options.

Cortisone injections may not be suitable if you:

• Have poorly controlled diabetes.

• Have received more than three injections in the same area within the past year.

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Are recovering from a recent COVID-19 or flu vaccination.

• Have an active infection or a known allergy to corticosteroids.

• Are taking anticoagulant medication which is not adequately controlled.
